CPJ post game comments?*

They were AWFUL. I also had no idea we had those injuries to the OL during the game. I also noticed they never brought up that Nesbitt was coming off injury until he hopped back to the huddle on one leg after a run. And it's not that we needed them to make excuses for Josh, but his health was the major storyline coming into the game, and they never totally oblivious to this.

Not to mention, it was obvious early in this game to anyone who had seen him play this year that Josh was hindered by the injury from the start. All the Raycom guy could do was compare yesterday's offense to the BC game from 2 months ago! Do these guys even do any game prep?
I like the color guy when he's rooting for your team, but he was blatantly siding with North Carolina on just about every play.

They also called Michael Johnson---Michael Jackson---twice.

Additionally, they said Nesbitt had been dealing with an ankle injury the entire season.

forgot about that!!! They did say Michael Jackson!!!

so we had the "thriller" and a Brunette on defense, what the heck!!!!:wow:

Well, Morgan Burnettes' 'locks' coming out of his helmet do look brunette to me?!

There's a reason these guys are working on regional telecast. They are terrible. Doc Walker, the color analyst, is always trying to be too cool, appealing to the 8-19 demographic. And, Steve Martin, I think that's his name, is so in love with the North Carolina triangle teams that is is blatantly obvious. Get the game on your laptop, listen to Wes do the game, and turn down the sound on TV.

That may be due to the fact that UNC pretty much beyotch-slapped us on every play.

I've been watching Doc Walker for a long time and cannot recall a single instance where he appeared to be biased against us or anyone else.

Now when the action on the field is biased then simply relaying that information to the viewers might appear as bias but its really not.

I remember Doc saying "I know I'm supposed to be impartial. I'm sorry Tech, but I've just got to root for my boys." I think it was our 2006 game against NC.

I didn't hear that particular quote but do know that Doc played for UCLA.

It may have been the 2004 game. Either way, I don't know why he referred to UNC as "his boys", but he was most definitely rooting for them (and apologized for it).
