3 - 7 vs UGA
5 of the 7 losses to UGAG have been close and entertaining.

Since CPJ
1x ACC Champion
4x Coastal
3x ACC Coach of the Year

Notable OOC non COFH wins:
2014: Destroyed Mississippi State, 10-2 (6-2) in the Orange Bowl, went 11-3 with all three garbage losses by one score. The same Miss St team that had 3 top 10 AP wins, beat #2 Auburn, and lost by 5 to Alabama.

Notable quotes:
2018 after a 1-3 start
“I don’t blame ’em, I’d bitch, too, the way we’re playing."

2016: Nails how far behind we are with fans, facilities, uniforms, everything.
"The thing about it is, as far as commitment, as an Institution, you have to think about where you want to be, and where do you fit? So if you want to fit in the upper echelon then clearly we're going to have to do a good job of raising money and upping our budget and upping our facilities and upping everything around our football program to be comparable with the teams you want to compete with. It's like I tell our guys every day, you can have expectations all you want, but if you don't have a commitment to reach those expectations, it doesn't do any good. ... Everybody says, 'Georgia Tech doesn't recruit 4- and 5-star kids', which is a joke. We try to recruit them just like everybody else. But, you've got to have the facilities to match up, you've got the have the fan support, you've got to have all the other things that go along with them that recruits are making decisions based on. So you have to make a commitment. We're surrounded by Auburn, georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State -- if we see ourselves in that light, then we've got a lot of work to do to get to where they are with a commitment towards football."

No loss to Georgia is ever entertaining.

I don't even think the wins are entertaining. Too much anxiety.
I have chest pain (legit) for days after the wins. Fortunately we don’t win often enough for this to pose any significant health threat.

If it weren't for this handy guide I never would have known that GT football began in 1994.

Good post except he ööööed it all up with close and entertaining losses to uga. There's no entertaining losses my boy. There's either mind-numbing pain and seemingly insurmountable suffering or immense jubilation over the tears of your vanquished archnemesis.

Yep, they can be good, competitive games / even entertaining for non-GT fans; but there is absolutely no entertainment value from losing to UGA. Op probably used the wrong word

5 of the 7 losses to UGAG have been close and entertaining.
While I don't quite agree with the word "entertaining," it is significant that 4 of CPJ's 7 losses have been by one score (6, 8, 7, 6 pts), one by two scores (14 pts), and two by blowout (31 & 32 pts). It is definitely better losing a close game than losing by blowout. Not quite the same as "entertaining," but the point is well taken.

(Though, as an aside, I don't think CPJ's margin-of-loss is much better than CCG's. 3 of his 7 losses were by one score (6, 7, 3 pts), two by two scores (14, 14 pts), and two by blowout (17, 44 pts). Obvs CPJ has won 3x so that means infinitely more than margin-of-loss comparisons.)
