Crap! We're Ranked ...

It doesn't matter that we're ranked, because U[sic]GA isn't in the ACC. So we're good to go...

This week's polls are surprising. Florida is number 2. And look how close Texas and OU are. Two points...

As for us, 18 is higher then I would have thought, but I'll take it. It's basically saying what we all know. We're the best team in the ACC right now.

Don't forget to tell your coworkers that there are just as many ACC teams in the top 25 as there are SEC teams.

The odd thing to me is that Va Tech, despite 4 losses, but with a win over us and still in control of their ACCCG/Orange Bowl destiny, didn't get even a single vote in the poll.

on a last second play. on the road.
ut beat ou on a neutral field.
do i think ou is better than ut right now? probably but they lost head to head.

Yes, the lost at the last second, but OU obviously didn't put themselves into that situation.

The OU/UT game was close too.

It's quite cut and dry actually.

So, there's a three-way tie, and you somehow magically broke such a tie because one team beat the other? Do you not see how your logic fails?

Let me ask you a question, why doesn't Texas Tech deserve to win the Big 12 South? They also have one loss, and they BEAT Texas!

This is the magic of this three way tie. It creates a circle of defeats. That's why we (unfortunately) have to rely on who we think is the best team, as well as who (really unfortunately) has won "prettier."

It's BS that UT is ranked above TT. :laugher:

10 points isn't a "close" game necessarily. It's no beatdown, but there's no question who won.

We're not discussing a three way tie. We're discussing OU being ranked ahead of UT.
