PJ coming to GT was a longshot, I posted it last night because he accepted the terms to a verbal agreement with SMU last night. This meeting was scheduled before that. Our incentive based contract wouldnt come close to SMU's. He would really have to want to be at GT to make it happen. Could it happen? It could of, PJ just didnt seem like he wanted GT from the beginning though.

Dallas, Georgia was incorporated in 1854. Dallas, Texas was incorporated in 1856.

My sons freshman roommate at UGAg was from Ocilla, I went to a wedding for 2 Tech grads this spring in Ocilla (had the Tams at their reception), I live in the same county as Deepstep and I know where Stillmore is.
 
You can visit Cairo, Rome, Paris and Athens...without ever leaving Georgia.
 
Yeah, I thought Dem was laying a smokescreen (by pushing WM and saying PJ wasn't interested) to keep the heat off PJ until after the Army-Navy game. I didn't fault him for it, I just thought that's what he was doing. I actually thought it was a smart idea.

However, I've come realize that he was telling the truth as things were happening at the time.

I freel sure he has not mislead us on anything and I appreciate his candor...

If he is from Ocilla he most likely would go to Ugag. We are still an agriculture community and proud of it.

Tams? I would love to be able to say I never heard of them thereby not dating myself. But it is sad I saw them many times when I was growing up. Great songs like "What Kind of Fool", "I've Been Hurt" and my favorite, "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy" just to name a few.

Thanks for the memories. Kinda brings a tear to your eye. :biggthumpup:
