Curse of the CAT

And I still maintain that you don't change tradition....PERIOD, no matter who says they like the new better, Collins (or TStan) has already de-emphasized Buzz at the football games, and I understand (just heard this) that Collins also didn't want the Wreck on the field but was vetoed on that. Are you willing to accept those ridiculous and unnecessary changes too? What do you think would happen if the students at Bama, or Clemson, or the cesspool, decided they didn't like their colors anymore, or they didn't like other time-honored traditions? NO, the students do not have a right to change things based of personal preference or likes.

I’ve noticed the deemphasis of Buzz, and it sucks. If he really wanted to do away with the Wreck entrance he can öööö right off.

I don’t like the emphasis on Navy (especially for unis - not that bothered by it in the field), but it’s not quite a holy war for me.

Except for the fact that we haven't, your comment is correct.
Wut?
2019:
USF - home
Miami - away
NC St. - home

2020:
FSU - away
Duke - home
Louisville - home

2021:
KSU - home
UNC - home(ish?)
Duke - away

That's 6 home, 3 away wins. 5 home, 1 neutral, 3 away if you don't count UNC.

First off . . . what does 2019 have to do with anything we are discussing here?

The idiot Tech grads from Shaw Industries wanted Shaw turf in our stadium. The last few seasons of natural grass, we let field maintenance decline so we would have an excuse to replace with artificial turf.

Here is a mid November pic 2014 against Clemson before the shenanigans began to convince us we couldn't grow grass and needed artificial turf. Field looks pretty damn good

The complaints about the turf "looking" bad are probably the most hilarious complaints I've every seen on this board and I want every single one of you to know that each time it bothers you, I am there in spirit, laughing in your dumb face.
This is some classic stingtalk right here

I don't know anything about the company, but I do know I don't remember ever thinking our grass looked worse than other natural turf fields. It would have stuck out to me if the grass just looked terrible

The very last season of natural I suspected something was up. The grounds crew allowed the field to turn sickly brown, like I had never seen. Sure enough, artificial gets installed in the off-season

Whoops, my bad. I forgot we were still natural turf in 2019... so then we still have 3 home wins, 1 neutral win, and 2 away wins. Still more wins at home than on the road.

I didn't know we were talking about multiple years.

Not in 2021, which is what I assumed the OP was referring to. Like the previous poster, I didn't know we were talking about different teams in different years.
This whole thread is about the turf, and the OP said "But I wonder what our record is playing on our new slick and slippery football field is?" Somebody else responded that "we have more wins at home than on the road." So I would think it means "on the new turf." Somebody else said that we didn't have more wins at home than on the road. My first post on results I forgot we didn't have the turf in 2019.
