What was roofs team defense ranking over his tenure?
Looks like In 2014 we were 80s
That’s crazy that it’s that skewed.http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...al/position/defense/sort/totalYards/year/2017
12: 79
13: 31
14:88
15: 43
16: 63
17: 18 (skewed bc of the missed game)
That’s crazy that it’s that skewed.
But 2013 was bad right?
FixedAfter watching our first nine games AND the Bama-LSU game:
1. We have nothing close to their game-changing bagmen
2. We have nothing close to their game-changing alumni/sidewalk support
3. We have nothing close to their game-changing support from the school's administration.
4. We don’t have majors that appeal to NFL bound 17 year olds (but it’s better than it was 40 years ago).
5. We don’t tackle well
We DO:
1. Swarm to the ball OK
2. Blitz fairly effectively
3. Get more TO’s than in years past
4. Have a knack for the timely TFL or QB hurry
Fei might reflect reality better.
2017- 69
2016-94
2015-62
2014-70
2013-77
Fwiw, Georgia state was ranked ahead of us in d for several of those.

Yesyeah, but let's look at their level of competition. does this metric take that into consideration?

2. We have nothing close to a game-changing LB
3. We have nothing close to a game-changing DB
4. We don’t get much pressure on the QB (but it’s better than last year)

@coit I know you are tracking the defense, what have you got so far?
