Foster's game plan is to have the opposition run 3 plays then punt. Same with Tenuta. And Michigan state. And Pitt.

There are plenty of teams that base their D on getting 'turnovers by downs'.

That isn't Ted's way. He is absolutely a bend but don't break guy. That isn't the trend everywhere. It seems to be most effective against pro style teams and least effective against the spread.
