Da Fans

I guess Saint Richt is rubbing off on them. I heard several of them quoting scripture

A Miami fan gave me a very smooth cigar because he said "he always carries an extra." The Miami fans sitting near us were also not too baD. Try buying tickets that are a little bit more expensive next time so you don't have to sit with trash.

I've seen both ends of the Miami extreme. They don't really strike me as any different than most major fan bases. Maybe you just had a bad experience this time?

Da U fans tend to be more urban than the genteel southern folk who attend southern football games. It can be a culture shock to the more sheltered of our fans. I'm from Florida and am used to this. Like anywhere else, they're okay folks once you get used to their loud nature at ball games. They're definitely fun when theyre cheering for your team with you. Just like other fans too, there are bad apples. Dont let a few bad apples ruin your profile for all UM fans.

We had a perfect representative of Miami sitting in 223. The guy (attending the game by himself) pulls out a selfie stick after it is apparent Miami will win and starts filming himself giving commentary on the game. The entire game he is talking to himself and when our offense was marching it was very entertaining. I seriously think he was on drugs or has medical issues. All other Miami fans I encountered were pleasant.

Nah dude. 2009 was the worst display of fan hood I had ever seen. Walking to the stadium felt like walking through a prison yard, food and beer cans thrown at us, etc. "Trash" doesn't begin to describe the people we ran into.

The worst treatment I ever got was going into FSU in 2009. It was bad. May have just walked the wrong way.

I did go to Tebow's last game at FSU in 2008 (same day we beat UGAg in Athens). My experience from the 2009 game was nothing compared to the UF/FSU game at FSU that year. The FSU people were brutal. It was a rainy and nasty and the FSU folks were too.

The regular Jacket fans who sit behind us had sold/given his tickets to Miami fans. Quite frankly, those Miami fans were better than the regular Tech guys who persist in giving running commentary that's completely wrong 75% of the time.

The two Miami fans in front of me were not nearly as bad as the two Tech fans behind me.

You must sit in section 204.
