He's pretty much performing just like Timmy Bowden was. Losing close games, being inept on offense a lot, being inconsistent, looking like a tool on the sidelines. What does he have to do over the next couple of years to keep his job? Looks like Shannon might be safe for a while in Miami. Think Tuberville would go to Clemson?

Why would Clemson fire Yaba Daba? They didn't pull the trigger on tommy for years. They beat their in state rival 90% of the time and go to bowls regularly. Sad for them... if they ever got a coach Clemson seriously could be an annual NC contender. Shannon might be safe at UM for now but judging from the fans I meet... everything good is credited towards Whipple and everything bad goes towards Shannon.

They could probably make a straight-up trade with UVa for Al Groh.

Clemson = Auburn with a lake.

It would be fitting if Tommy Tubberville ended up there. LOL

I talked with a person that shall remain nameless that played on Clemson's National Championship team that told me that he had a coach at Clemson tell him that they would have only recruited two of the offensive linemen that are on the team right now that were recruited from the previous regime. He was told that at a fall practice and told me before the season. In fact, he told me that we would definitely win this season (we did, obviously) from what he saw on Clemson's OL. Remember, this is third hand knowledge, so take if FWIW.

Said they are basically slobs (my word) that are lazy, take plays off, don't work hard, and don't block

Perfect description of Clempsen's campus! I don't know about the coaching politics. The AD seems a little wacky, but people have asked for decades why the Tigers don't do more with the talent they get.
