I had pointed out the same thing before.
With the historic fiasco over in Athens at Thanksgiving with two weeks to prepare, I had a sick feeling that with 4 weeks to prepare for the Silicon Valley Bowl that we were in deep trouble.
Apparently no matter how good the players are....no group of players can overcome being coached down by this group of coaches.

Beeware, me thinks we have a coach whose heart is not in it.
CG summed it up himself when he said that there is a lot more to the job than he had expected! And, perhaps, more than he wants. How sweet it would be if he just said, "I am not up to this at my age." Wishful thinking.

Good point about the prep time, the more time this group has with the team, the worse it gets. Now we get to see what 8 months of this will buy us - that ought to be real interesting.
And by the way, the Fresno State second string, with only 45 dressed out, ain't nothing like the Auburn team I saw line up and stuff it down Penn State's throat yesterday.
