Whatever happened to all of the preseason talk that our offense was running twice as fast as it did last year?! You all remember those articles? Geez. What happened to THAT.

EXACTLY! If we lose tonight because our offense is subpar, this may have just earned a spot in my signature.

It's the one part of Dems report that jumped out at me the most --and it does worry me as well.

I was worried before I read dems' report. I'm now moving toward O-sh*t-ville. I really hope I'm wrong
 
As of 2:30 no rain....beach is beautiful....radar looks clear.....lots of puffy clouds though....at it's hot and humid....need to hydrate or will have problems

Tell me about it. We've looked a lot slower in the first two weeks this year than the last two weeks last year.

I skipped class(2 actually) LAST week. And this week I have a test(that will thankfully be over before kickoff) and a lab that is during the game.

The actual lab assignment isn't due for a week so I might just get the assignment and peace out.

It was meant as, the O was running faster this Fall camp compared to last year's fall camp. The O will become more efficient and faster as the season wears on, like last year. I really do feel for the defenses that catch us in late october and November hahaha!!

I can understand that an offense like ours that relies heavily on timing and silent communication will take a few games to start moving.

But IMO we should still be moving faster, and I'm sure PJ agrees.

What happens when we catch a tough team early?(or if Miami turns out to be a tough team) Or God forbid we get picked for the ACC/SEC kickoff and have to open the season w/ Bama, LSU, Florida, etc?

I don't think we can rely on winning the first few games ala Clemson fashion.

But we are faster in the first two weeks of this year then we were the first two weeks of last year.

Very very true. And significantly less fumbles. I just thought everybody was saying in summer camp that we are faster now than at the end of last season.

I think we start clicking soon... I just hope its tonight. If it isn't, I think we'll be there for sure after 10 days to prep for unc.
 
I think the best metaphor (I hope) for this season compared to last season is like shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. I am hopeful that our performance at the end of this season is significantly better than last season (ala the top-end speed of 3rd vs. 2nd gear).

Duh, this is an easy one. The other defenses have figured out the offense because there is a year of film on it and LSU showed them the way...
