Depth Chart for ND - 9/1/07

All I do is cheer at games, and again, I more than likely donated more than you and I'l be at the games next year too. And guess what, if you don't like what I'm saying, I'll be stating it the rest of the year too. Gailey ain't getting it done, and until he fixes this BS of pissing away opportunities and finishing terribly at the end of each season, you'll keep hearing me criticize. And I'll be at ND next year too. But guess what, I won't feel like I earned the right to speak just from going to a game. Get off your soap box.

This last post proves that there really is a contingent of Tech alums that honestly believe it is not their obligation to inform our highly paid stewards how they are doing with our program.

They need our support for sure, but they also have the right to know what kind of job they are doing with what belongs to the alumni of this school.

To use a stoopid analogy, would it be wise for a guardian of a child to blindly support stoopid and potentially dangerous behaviour from that child?

I am not talking to those that think that our hired stewards have the program on track. I address only those that believe all Tech faithful need to just pay up, show up, and shut up.

That's nice, must make you feel great to name call. It's absolutely embarrassing that we can't even have a conversation without this crap.

It did feel rather nice, thank you.

And you've never done the same?

Actually yes I have on this board a regreted it. But I also did it too the man's face as well.

Be a man and go down to the AA and do it to Chan and maybe I will look at your statement differently.

It amazes me how some can say whatever BS they want to, but when someone gives a different view, they tell them to shut up, get off their soapbox, et al.
BOR, continue your BS and enjoy your life. I haven't the time or inclination to playwith someone who has such a warped view of their importance and or knowledge.

Admitting that you've said the same things that I said and then going public here to chide me about it reminds me of a story involving a splinter, an eye, and a beam. Maybe you've heard it too?

I regret most of the obnoxious things I say, also. Believe me when I say that if I had the same privileges (admittedly earned) as you, Chan and Rad would hear everything I think face to face. No need to worry about me not being able to verbalize my thoughts in a "manly" way. If you can you arrange for me to have the same audience as you I'll gladly show you my manhood. If you can arrange this, I await your Private Message.

I'll give you the last word on this one but await your PM.

I've got a feeling that Dwyer will prove to be the 2nd best (maybe THE best) RB on campus by the ND game. Where our dum a$$ coach chooses to use him is a whole 'nother story. Remember a kid named Taylor Bennet?

Now tell us what you think of the coach who used Tony Hollings at DB. Which coach was it that moved him to RB?

Dude, you might want to chill the hell out. First, I think most people know to take me with a grain of salt. Second, I didn't tell you to shut up until you started giving me this complete Bull Sh*t "you're a bad fan, I'm a good fan" bit. And I never told the original poster to shut up OR that he was stupid.

I don't have a warped view of my self importance. You did by stating how if I didn't go to the Gator Bowl then I have no room to talk and that you are such a better fan. I know, unlike most, that by posting on a message board ain't going to get my point across to the GTAA. I'm not so arrogant to think it matters. I'm just another guy talking football on this forum, that's it.

When someone starts taking the hard line of "you are a good fan and you aren't a good fan" because they went to a game, sorry but I'm gonna say that's BS all day long and then I'm going to try to get under your skin, which it looks like I succeeded.

Anyway, touche' gtguy, don't let it bug you. And I appreciate your support of GT. We need it from everyone.

Remember I'm not very smart. I've never heard of that story. Mamma didn't read to me that much.

Drads office is always open, Call Trish his Sect and set up an appointment. He would love to get your thoughts.

I'll give you the last word on this one but await your PM.

No need to PM you I try to be upfront and not hide things. Oh I did PM BOR and apologized for not understanding a thought he had.

I'm no more special than you are to that program except the fact I played there. So get off your high horse. As far as being priviledge, I wish you really knew me before before making that comment.

Well, unfotunately, it looks like you have made false accusations. Going into the spring, Gaston will be starting, and Jamal Lewis will be moved back to CB.

This is per Ryan Bass at the Lunch Bunch.

And Byron Ingram is in now way going to be the backup.

Please don't throw out insults and make accusations that I'm wrong, when you're the truly naive one.

"again" ..?

Our secondary has been pretty good the past few years, IMO.

He is just showing his true colors. LongforDodd has never written something that wasn't negative, ever.

I know Ryan. Went to college with him and used to sit behind him at games. I also hang out with him on the lower level East stands at halftime of games. Ryan is a good guy and knows a lot, and stays in touch with the program. Many people don't know this but I believe Ryan walked on the GT team, or came close walking on. I don't think he stayed on the team all four years though.

That said, Ryan is an eternal optimist. You gotta be if you are a walk-on and desire to start at GT. He's made comments in the past like "Jake Blackwood might push for starting time" and "Kyle Manley is really looking good and could see some playing time".

Give me a break. I like those kids but neither of them will make a significant impact on GT football so why are we even discussing it? He sees everything as glass is full. That's his job. With regards to the team, his insight is pretty good, but it typically is about the same as any other knowledgable person.

I base my observations on what I hear out of the GTAA and the Coaches. Not Master B. And I think a 3rd down specialist Grant will see more playing time than a 2nd string RB.

If Gaston starts next year I will be amazed because he was in Tenuta's dog house almost daily when he was healthy.
