Depth Chart

So a lot of this stuff was all Collins, hmm...
Yeah Key might have never been on board with the gimmick. Or maybe he's just savvy enough to know that people didn't like it.

Either way this is a good sign to me. They dusted off the old Paul Johnson depth chart template

Depth chart ... depth chart ...
what? is there a u-boat in the water?

Oh ... depth chart.
Never heard of her.

(Seriously - so glad there is one. Hopefully one of many breaths of fresh air into the program)

I hope we can also go back to sensible jersey numbers where the entire team doesn't shuffle annually and single digits appear on both O and D.
Any offensive skill player worth a crap would want #14 or #21 for GT

My bad. Didn’t see this one.

Charlie Thomas is out for the first half again, right? Do we know if they'll move Eley over again?

Maybe now we can make the defense "results based", and we won't have to rely so much on Thomas.

But, has Thacker really been getting held back? Do we go Tenuta on them and just throw the kitchen sink at them? Tenuta swam or sank with that philosophy. When it worked, it was beautiful.

I doubt anyone outside of the immediate organization knows for sure. It's looked to me like the defense has held up fairly well in most of the games early (Ol' Miss being the exception), before the floodgates opened as the 2nd half progressed.. Is this because the defense is gassed/deflated due to our lack of offense or are opposing coaches making adjustments that we don't know how to counter?

You'd need a better X's and O's coach than me to answer that question. Anything would be better than sitting back and getting picked apart and run over.

Wow actually having people show skills in /gasp/ real practice to be a starter or 2nd string. What a crazy competition concept. The gold-star clown king has been overthrown

It will be interesting to see the changes across all three units. Pittsburgh might be surprised now that the offense and defense are no longer constrained by Collins.

The DL is crap.
