I realize nobody is happy with 3 wins but do we have to scrutinize everything in hopes of passing more blame to Collins? Pretty sure they had a good relationship.
I don't know anything about DMo leaving for USC, but I will note that in years past he turned down bigger paychecks to stay as chaplain. I remember during CPJ's tenure, at one point DMo applied for an asst coaching job that would've paid more, and CPJ personally asked him to stay on as chaplain at lower compensation, and he agreed to do it. That was personally related by CPJ at an FCA fundraiser. There is (and was) zero talk about CGC or anyone at GT pushing DMo out, or about DMo leaving because he was un- or even under-appreciated. By every account, DMo got offered a great $$$ deal at USCeast that we couldn't beat and he took it.
Unless someone comes out with credible support to the contrary, they're a troll completely making stuff up in their heads and puking it onto StingTalk
I realize we are limited financially. However the marginal cost to compensate our chaplain fairly should have been a manageable expense.I don't know anything about DMo leaving for USC, but I will note that in years past he turned down bigger paychecks to stay as chaplain. There is also no proof he WASN'T pushed out. Besides, he proved his value over many years. If you have no money, then prioritize. Lose the crew we hired for digital branding and marketing. Since the coaching is so bad, perhaps Moore was one of the last reasons a player wouldn't transfer. Some have the opinion the staff is so bad because they are underpaid, I make the opposite argument. They are way overpaid, and a bit of money for Moore would have been money well spent. You need someone to hold the crew together when the ship is sinking. There is (and was) zero talk about CGC or anyone at GT pushing DMo out, or about DMo leaving because he was un- or even under-appreciated. She lives in Augusta which is only about an hour or less away from there. From what I understand that did play a part in his decision also.I thought his daughter lived over there too and was moving to be close to her.
Had a few plates on the barHad a chance to meet Moore in McDonough at a gym and at one point walked up and spoke to him. Super nice guy of course, but a really intense and intimidating dude as well. He is a beast
Hmm I haven't thought about Beamer being a replacement for Fuente. He's making $2.75M at USC now and VT was paying Fuente $4M so they definitely have room to pay him. Might can for less than $3.5M.If Beamer goes to VT, wonder if he stays at USCe
