last night? There was a report on F$U (which of course made F$U look like a perfect team) and then it was followed by a poll of who did people think would end as number one at the end of the season... (I think that was the general idea of the question) Ugag got the most votes. A little over 40% of the votes. The announcers then stated they appreciated Richt and his staff voting.

If anyone watched it, I was just curious what people thought...and is it realistic that ugag could finish tops????

Sorry but UGAg just does not have the defense to go the distance this year. That young secondary of theirs will cost them three to four games and they always choke on a few. A 7-5 or 8-4 season is a realistic expectation since they have about four or five mulligan's on their schedule.

They will score lots of points... well if they find a running game. However... lack of a defense will be clearly demonstrated in their first game versus Clemson.

Most UGA fans that I know don't see them as top 10 material. That's surprising, as usually UGA fans overrate their squad (kinda like we did last year).

This year, they're showing restraint though. I myself expect them to go 9-3 or something around that neighborhood.
 
I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the poll... I beelieve ugag really doesn't stand a chance at finishing at the top. I was just curious as to if I was the only one who thought this. By the way, I wonder if those who voted were really the ugag coaches

I didn't see the poll, but I caught some of the comments during and just after the F$U feature.

Did any of you notice who was sitting on the far right behind the desk? If I am not mistaken, it was none other than Mike Bell, of Mayhem in the Morning on 790 the Zone. Yes, that Mike Bell - the one who cannot stand the ACC (save F$U) and loves them puppies!

Coincidence?
 
UGAg has about the same chance of winning it all as we did last year. They are started out ranked about the same as we were as well, maybe a little higher.

UGAG got the most votes. Nobody can deny they are the more popular school. All their students come from Georgia and stay here after graduation. Tech students are international, and they go all over the world when they leave. UGAG will always win little polls on TV and in the AJC.

But then reality will set in.

UGAG will lose to South Carolina, and there will be much rejoicing.

Then the standard routine...
They will lose to Tennessee
They will lose to Florida
They will lost to us at home (for the third straight time).
