Did CPJ change the blocking scheme for the last few games?

Some GT fan on tigerdroppings posted this:

"From what i've read on most GT blogs, the main reason for the increased production of the 3O is that CPJ changed the blocking techniques in the last few games. At Navy, because his line was undersized he had them cut blocking everyone, and apparently the current o-line at GT just wasn't very good at it. Now he's going back to the more traditional up-right blocking that GT's o-line had done in the pro-style offense that Chan Gailey ran, and the results have been quite apparent."

Anyone have some insight?

haha, actually that is actually my account on their message board.

I think i read that somewhere on http://gtsports.blogspot.com/ but I can't find the specific link on there right now. I'll keep looking and update this thread if I can find it.

If I'm remembering correctly the article said that there were a lot of our o-linemen just cutting air when trying to make some of their cuts, especially when they were against some of the faster d-linemen. so CPJ had them start blocking more upright (which is what they were used to under Gailey)

Nic Claytor said that he was not cutting as much.
