GT band performance in the Thanksgiving Parade, I thought I heard the commentator say that GT just added a Music Major for the 1st time ? Yes I did, I replayed it, she said " The school's first degree program in music was just recently installed and now here they are " Exact words....The band did look to be larger than normal. That lady was obviously a fan, she went on to say real nice things about the band and said that was the 1st time to see them and had a view up top and it was spectacular.
 
Brilliant! If it is true this is absolutely brilliant. It gives us a major which has some space for non-technical students that do not need calculus and will not water down our mangement/technical degrees. Absolutely brilliant!
 
In an interview on Fox and Friends with the band yesterday they mentioned there's a music minor and soon to be a Music Technology major, but not a Music major.
 
im sure she has a media guide sitting in front of her...

our high school band was on there and she acted like she went to the school with the amount she knew

kudos to her though :)
 
I beleive is a Masters program not undergrad. They got all the info about the school and band wrong too. Boo CBS.
