Did Nesbitt pratice today?

I promise you CPJ gives Jaybo plenty of adversity in practice each day. Jaybo also went against our first team D for the first 3 weeks of practice. Duke will not give him anything he cannot handle physically or mentally. HE WILL BE PREPARED.

With that said....he is a true freshman so who the hell knows?

I agree he will be ready from an assignment standpoint.

They key will be the mental preparedness. There is a big difference between thinking you may play and coming off the bench....and knowing for 72 hours you are the starter and responsible for the offense for the first time.

I have seen many players that are much better off the bench.

I am not saying that Jaybo will have a problem with it....just pointing out this is a new situation and everything is speculation until we see the results.

Just to let you know, in big games (NOT THIS ONE), PJ will sideline someone who has "the flu", Turf Toe, a cold, and the like only for them to show up and play from the second play to the end of the game and sometimes set school records...

See Also: Adrian Peterson on crutches all week in the playoffs before rushing for over 300 yards, then the next year having the flu and announced it as a game time decision and doing similar in that national championship game.
