You're an idiot. You really are. And delusional, if you think that there are simply a vocal minority telling you to screw off. But I know that it wouldn't matter to you if there was a petition signed by everyone here and Paul Johnson, you'd keep doing the same thing over and over again to milk the place for all the advertising you can.

I'm glad you have a radio show. I really am. I don't care who is on it. I don't have time to listen.

However, it irritates me that I have to wade through a bunch of crap on this board because it is suddenly seen as a forum for advertising your show. Advertising is a generous word. Your posts and response to other posters on this board make it seem like we are obligated to listen to your show. No one is obligated to listen to your show, or even like it.

There is no need to defend your show on this forum. This is not the venue to defend your show. I'm not saying who is right or wrong. But, the reality is, that you and everyone else knows what happens when you advertise your show===and make oblique references to why all Tech fans should listen.

I come to stingtalk to read dumb arguments about dumb topics in the offseason. Occasionally, I see some news. Stingtalk provides more inside info than anyother free message boards. But your postings which defend BeeBAdd spawn multiple postings and increase the BS/to news ratio in the wrong direction. I enjoy BS threads because I am qualified to post in them. But I like some variety in my BS. You're ruining that.

Fact: a lot of people don't like BeeBad.
Fact: you like BeeBad.
Both groups have good reasons I'm sure.

However---when you keep defending him you fail to realize that opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has one and while they are changed on occassion--the process is rather like something Architech would write about. And when I come here and see these threads, that's the visual that you have left me with.

So please, continue your truly excellent show. Just stop defending it. Post a time and the guests. Don't defend any critiques. Because when you do, I'm left with the above mental image that I don't want.

You are not obligated to change anyones opinion. And I'll also note that if that is your goal, you've picked the wrong medium.

Pretty sure I didn't say anything negative to you, broseph. I'm commenting on irishe, and you happened to become a part of the discussion. If you want to post here, welcome, enjoy yourself, etc.

I know he won't do this, but if the Administration is going to continue to allow him to advertise here even though so many of us have told him to go away - he should make one single thread and keep all updates and show announcements/discussion in that one thread.

I will make one thread, but your negativity destroys those threads. Next time I make one about the show, if you dont have anything good to say dont say anything at all.

:laugher: I'm pretty sure you can't instruct us to not speak our minds about your show. If you don't like it, you can stop making your threads. Once you stop polluting the forum with your threads and condense it to one, I will likely not be posting in it regardless - but don't presume to have the right to tell people what they can or can not say, especially considering the way you've acted.

Hint: if you don't respond to critiques--or defend your show in that post--people won't write as many negative things. If you fail to follow this rule you didn't get a very good education at Tech outside of the classroom.

Don't take things personally. It makes life much more pleasant.

Seriously guys - if you don't like irishe's posts, report them. If the mods get enough complaints, I'm sure they'll take care of it.
