First of all, I've been a Tech fan for ~ 40 years.
My dad played in the early 50's, and I REALLY wanted to attend Tech...

But the curriculum wasn't diverse enough for me. Does that make me a bad student, or a lazy student, or a non-committed student ?

I got accepted to Tech, but didn't attend, because I was pre-med, and I didn't feel that there was enough diversity in the program to accomidate my needs...I graduated with a 3.8 from
UNC, so I don't necessarily think that diversity in curriculum equated to watering down academics.

Why does increasing the curriculum make folks wig-out here ? I don't get it.....If we had a few more degrees, its STILL TECH, however I guarentee that we'd get FAR more interest in recruits AND keep players in school....Not everyone is mathematically inclined - does that make them a lesser human ?

I have one question - and not to be inflammatory - but after a drubbing, say something like 51-7..Do you REALLY get warm fuzzies as you walk back to your car (or whatever), with the thoughts of "well, we're all SMARTER than those guys and we have a "better school".....Well, does it ?
