They've got that kid named Gibbs but they also lack that bruiser RB like Derrick Henry, Shaun Alexander, Trent Richardson, et. al.

Auburn is afraid BOB won't cheat, so they are hoping for Freeze. Bama's fans are using BOB for a scape goat rather than face the reality that the game is passing them by.

GT fans don't want Chadwell's gimmick offense, BOB's non-gimmick offense, CBK, Deion, or anyone else for that matter. Maybe we can get the Computer Science Dept to generate an AI head coach. It would be very Georgia Tech, have impeccable time management skills, and cost way less than a human head coach.

No. The reason everyone at Alabama wants him gone is because any time they lose a football game they go straight to coordinators. How about their overall lack of a pass rush and zero contain on a QB who can run as well as Jayden Daniels. Alabama scored 31 on the road at the toughest place in the nation to play. 32 points in that matchup has won every game since 2007 besides 2019

Yeah but they also dont run that type of offense anymore, which is why they do not have those backs.

You always need a short yardage power back. It doesn't have to be Derrick Henry, a Laskey or even a Days will do. A Gibbs won't get the job done though.

Thats not the job anymore is what youre not getting. They dont make an effort to have an inside run game, so therefore you dont see a back making those runs. Gibbs is plenty good enough to get that done if thats what they scheme, but it is not

Another advantage of an AI head coach is that you don’t need a pull back guy.

I can't remember which podcast talking head said it this morning, but one of them said BoB looked like the 4th best coordinator in that Alabama/LSU game. That one really struck a chord with me

That job is still there is what you aren't getting. it is why Bama has a habit of pulling Gibbs and going with the other guy when inside the 5. It is why Williams had 11 yards and 2 TD's to Gibbs 99 yards and 0 TD's on Saturday. Gibbs is plenty good; but he sucks at that job and Bama doesn't have confidence in him to do it.

The eye test alone tells you that Gibbs isn’t the bruiser of a RB that Alabama is accustomed to having. All of those other guys looked like linebackers playing RB and ran like it too.

Youre not getting what im saying. Thats not how they're building them anymore. Look at their RB room. They are all built very similarly to Gibbs. Mclellen is their heaviest back and hes listed at 210 so likely 200lbs

I’m sure Bama would love to have a good physical back, they just don’t this year. I don’t think it’s by design.
