Seriously, Vad Lee is preferred over Whisenhunt, and I think Whisenhunt had a head start on Vad. It sucks. I’m sure Whisenhunt is a great GT man, but so is Roof.
 
The silver lining about a Wisenhunt hire would be that after three or four years of being the worst team in the ACC, we could burn out all the option haters.

Another example of nepotism hiring issues at Georgia Tech. If this goes forward I am guessing someone forgot to send him Bud's ethics email.
 
He is a good man from what I've heard, but I don't think he would be the right man for us.

All that matters is if the 10 are big donors frankly.

I'm with Corndog, and sad that y'all are such haters.

Most coaches its about money. Wiz would likely be coming here cause he loves GT like we do and wants them to win as much or more than we do and thinks he can make that happen.

I have no reason to believe he cant. Really I dont. I would be shocked if he didnt come here at a very reasonable salary knowing if we are to have a chance we have to have more salary money left over for top tier assistants and a deep support staff.

To exaggerate, Wiz has more football XO in his pinky than is in Dabos head, but Dabo showed genius HC is overrated. His success or failure will come down to his staff. Its nuts to be so negative without seeing his salary and his staff.

Having said that: If we pay him 4 mil+ with a big buyout I'm going to the Catholic store to buy some Notre Dame gear, cause a famine would be coming for GT football fans.

Whoever is hired needs to make a pitch to Calvin to be our WR coach. I don't care if Calvin comes to practice, we just need him for recruiting. If Megatron sends a tweet or text to a HS athlete it would turn some heads our way.
 
Dude, if we are just doing crazy shit for recruiting, hire all the popular Atlanta rappers to be on our recruiting staff.

If we had any sense some of the $125 kk would be to put a state of the art recording studio in the Edge building and let Atlanta rappers and GT Players use it for free. Have some free electives on how to use the equipment. öööö Clemson's waterslides. The recruits would eat that shit up. Triple that if you let the rappers eat in the edge cafeteria. Quadruple if you let them park their rides on the sidewalk out front.

You put one GT hat in the "put on for my city" video and our recruiting rankings wouldve been orders of magnitude better.

The other thing we need in the edge building is tournament gaming setup. We shouldve had a mens and womens video gaming team already. Host tournaments. (This one needs to be somewhat bait n switch cause we cant have student athletes playing fortnite all day.)

I dont think Im crazy to say the things a lot of these top athletes are into is rap music, video games, and girls. If we cant be tops on girls (I could close the öööö out of that too), we damn sure could be tops on rap music by a long way.

With the rappers here, how much would it cost to get them to play after the game? You want to get recruits to come to our games? Have a free rap show afterwards. You could probably even get the student govt to fund them out of student fees.

The degree of unity on this question is astounding. If you asked "Do you hate Georgia?", I'm not sure the poll would be as unanimous
