Does anyone expect TB to start next year?

The QB competition will be very open this spring and I don't think he will get the nod next year with Renfree and Nesbitt competing.

Not if our new HC has a pulse/working brain cell.

No. I think Renfree wins the job as a freshmen. He is going to be a big time player. I think Nesbitt needs to be involved in the offense but I am not sure QB is where he needs to be. But that's only my opinion.

Wait, isn't Tebow the White Mike Vick?

no. tebow can actually throw the ball with some accuracy, and he runs the ball like a fullback, while vick had a good arm, he missed open receivers and he ran around defenses, not through them, like tebow does. vick is also a hell of a lot faster.

First off, Renfree hasn't signed on the dotted line yet. I sure hope he loved GT because it was GT and not because of CG. This is why it is important to get the right guy in here, and get him immediately focused on building a staff and recruiting.

Depends on the HC & OC but if it's someone like Hatcher is HC or Bond as OC, I bet Nesbitt gets the nod... if it's a pro-style offense I wouldn't be surprised if Booker is named the starter with Renfree to backup [if he signs] and Nesbitt moving to Safety.

Lots of decisions to be made -- the first being the most important by D-Rad -- before anything can be accurately projected.

Some of you guys don't make a damn bit of sense.

We fire Gailey and one of the larger issues is the lack of quarterback development. Then, 13 seconds after Gailey pulls out of his parking spot for the last time, some folks decide that the problem wasn't Gailey after all but that TB can't be coached up.

Make up your minds.

I suspect the new coach will give EVERYONE a fair chance to win the job. I would go with the younger guy, Josh would probably be the choice as long as he improves.

I wouldn't be shocked if TB didn't start in the bowl game this year.

(No, I'm not close to the program, and no one has told me that. I don't even necessarily expect it, just saying that it wouldn't surprise me)

I'm eager to see what TB can do when he gets to play without being told one hundred times: "Just DON'T make a mistake. Just DON'T mess up."

I think there is a good chance we'll see the TB we saw in last year's bowl game. A TB who is loose and confident and not looking at the sidelines for approval after the ball is snapped but before his release.

It will be JB's decision, I expect him to open things up. Should be a fun bowl game.

I saw enough raw talent in Nesbit to believe he will be our QB next year, but not without some quality QB coaching.

Based on his high school performance, however, it could be Renfree before the season ends if Nesbit's passing game doesn't materialize or he fails Playbook 101.

Vick was a great college passer.
