Does anyone expect TB to start next year?

Vick's college playbook was essentially only ten plays, though.

Next spring will be huge for Nesbitt, Dwyer, et al. At QB, I personally think Nesbitt could use a year off and develop his passing game. I'd miss his running however.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Taylor as the starting quarterback next year. I do believe the "don't make a mistake" gameplanning had an effect and I definitely think our WR's will be strong next year. They all come back and will grow quite a bit in the off season, if history has shown us anything (Dez White, etc. all were markedly improved versus first season). I think James Johnson was hurt this season and next year will be a difference maker.

Earls, Johnson, BeBe and Smith have all shown big time skills at one point or another. Our WR's should be a strength for us next year and Taylor would be the best option to get them the ball (or maybe Booker).

I'm hoping Booker and Nesbitt get their own series or two in the bowl game. Bennett simply isn't the guy, I hope we have someone better. He left a lot of passes "hanging" last week, way too much air. His best pass all year probably was dropped though. I just don't know if he has it in him but we'll see one way or another.

The QB competition will be very open this spring and I don't think he will get the nod next year with Renfree and Nesbitt competing.

GTKyl,

Rad did his job and now as a fan you should do your job and support the program with positive energy. Instead of this kind of muckraking bullsh** why don't you use your endless energy to start a ground swell of positive insights and support for the players. This team was full of under performances this year from allot of great athletes for various reasons. For you to zero in on one player like this at this time doesn't say much for you or your kind.

Wreckingball,

Kyle made his post and now as a member you should do your job and state your opinion with positive energy instead of this making stuff up bullsh**.

gsu_paintballer,
wondering if you see what he did there

Beej - you are quite the trendsetter with this whole signing your posts thing!

The options right now are:

1) Guy who throws a soft hanging frisbee

2) Guy who prefers the other team have the ball

Better bring someone that can coach 'em up!

The irony is that Bennett's dad allegedly wanted Chan gone bad. And now the chances of him starting a second year are greatly diminished. So IMHO it is a perfect example of be careful what you wish for.

Our WR coaching under Geis has been crappy at best. The only good thing that Geis did was not screwing Calvin up.

A new coach should be able to improve our WR play considerably.
