Does Pyron Get A Shot If King Continues To Have

Non issue. Pyron needs to stay sharp and keep working. His time is coming, just not now.
And I'm afraid, unfortunately, not here.

I just can't see him wanting to stick around until his Senior year to start. If King continues his play through the end of the season, I think Pyron explores his opportunities elsewhere. I hope I'm wrong, but this is life in Portal World.

He’s got some good talent around him. Some has been banged up. I wonder why we saw a regression since Louisville and I think when Chase Lane returns as well as a Hopeful Blackburn maybe he can spread it out even more. Didn’t we have an Olinemen banged up too?

I would say he has some pretty damned good WRs...
Solid group. Singleton is a playmaker, but nobody else really stands out. It isn’t m like he has huge Smelter, Waller, Hill, Thomas, Calvin type guys out there that can just dominate and make it easy on the QB.

Otherwise we are very weak at TE RB and have a patchwork OL.

So yea. Minimal talent.

impressive statistics but Tech continues to lose? Over many years of watching college football I have noticed QB’s that all they did was win. They didn’t have great stats … they just won. And I’ve seen vice versa … QB’s that had great stats but always managed to lose.

22 players on the field for a team - you put way too much emphasis on one.

The replacement pf starters needs to occur on defense not on offense. Whenever a defensive player misses a tackle he should be replaced.
If those guys are the backups and can't already beat out the starters ....

H. King has three years of eligibility I think unless he throws a ton of picks King stays the starter...

Even though I started this post I will have to say King is still the man right now. Instead of finding a way to lose he along with several others willed us to a win. Even when the Miami coaches pulled a brain fart our chances to win with 20+ seconds were still minuscule but King and others put the Jackets on their backs and carried us to victory. That’s what I want to see out of our QB, not stats but W’s.

Haynes has made some bad decisions and thrown into coverage for picks. He made a few great plays against Miami obviously but not convinced Pyron couldn't become the better QB. If Pyron wants to portal after this season though I'd respect it. Seems like he's given his all to Tech.

Haynes King is miles and miles better than Pyron or anyone else we have as an option at QB. The numbers speak for themselves.

I didn’t understand that play where we took HK out to put Pyron in to signal Miami defense we’re running it. And sure enough they were in our backfield as soon as we snapped the ball.

When you say minimal talent who are you comparing GT to, UGA? A mid level ACC team?
