Those numbers are actually very similar to what we did against UNC last year.

The difference? No turnovers.
 
Just another Tech win in which we didn't really look so great.

No question in my mind that this was our first complete game of the season even though we could have and should have scored much more. This time, though, all our guys played the full sixty minutes with virtually no let down.

There is still much room for improvement before the dawg game. Let this be the beginning.
 
Fantastic game...and it could have been better.

With some red zone execution/field goals this game is a blowout.

Defense had 10 days and 42! minutes of REST.

18 mins of play + feeling fresh = 3 turnovers and a #91 sack!

Funny thing is, we had more total yards last year. That is how silly that whole "we have the blueprint" tripe was.

Yep, we can hold on to the ball much better this year. I actually do think we had two fumbles today, but both were recovered.

Maybe I missed something from last year on the boards, but were Tar Hole fans talking a lot of smack somewhere? I just have a hard time imagining them being able to talk any smack unless it's basketball. They deserve to get b*tch slapped if they were talking smack last year.
 
But I thought UNC had the blueprint on stopping this high school offense.:laugher:

Good god, yes. They downplayed us as a legitimate opponent and declared that they had stopped the option. They actually started talking about competing for a national title in 09. I've held a grudge against those ignorant ****s all off-season because of all the ridiculous **** they said.
