Dominick Blaylock to Tech

According to Transfer Portal and On3, Dominick Blaylock is coming to The Flats.

Transferring from Athens. 2019 4-star out of Walton, son of Mookie Blaylock.
suffered a knee injury and never seemed to recover his spot.

I remember playing against him in a 7v7. He went in for the first play, caught a 40 yard bomb for a TD, then came out the rest of the game so he didn’t get hurt.

At the wide receiver spot, Georgia Tech is going to be missing its top three receivers from last season, but have hit the portal hard to find replacements.

He tore his ACL twice… not sure if it was the same knee or what type of graft he had. I know the cadaver grafts tend to tear easier. It takes at least a year to fully recover. That said I hope he does well here.

Maybe he’ll turn out to be a great player. If he does I’ll happily eat my words. But I’m not nearly as excited as y’all are about another uga cast off coming to Tech. Besides he’s a “dawg for life”

"life" meaning his old, former, previous life before he was borned again as a Jacket.

No real way to know, but at least it's been 2 years since the last ACL...hope he can play through it and get confidence back. Seemed like he had 1 missed catch his entire playing time at UGA, IIRC.
