Nah, got back yesterday. Nice trip. Should have purchased down there when it was cheap about 5 years ago. Real estate is stupid down there right now.

1. Dontae returning is the best news of the offseason.
2. Brandon was an absolute force. He often dictated double teams. Maybe the 2019 defense would have been better if he had been in the middle of the line. Who knows? But go back and watch the games from 18 and see just how disruptive he was.

Go ahead and cherry pick one of the two positions most affected by his system (QB and OL). There was talent everywhere else at DB, LB, WR, RB, and even P. He put about 5-6 RB in the NFL, a crapton of WR, about 4-5 LB, and 5-6 DB. He even put 2 kickers and at least one snapper.

DL we’ve never recruited real well regardless. The only recent exception there was the late 00’s when we recruited 4* Richard and Morgan, hit gold with off the radar 2* Walker, and converted a 4* TE Johnson to DE. Three of the four had good NFL careers and the 4th got drafted, IIRC.

First, I didn’t say great. Please don’t put words in my mouth. Second, lots of good players don’t get All Conference honors. There is a lot of space between “great” and “cupboard is bare.”

That coincides with he increased staff and money TStand put into the program. The stench of Bobinski cannot be overstated.

It also highlights the route J Batt is taking by upping the spending on staff.

Sasquatch's whole existence sat Tech was to make the best MBB hire possible. LOL.

Getting back to the OP, Dontae is one of my favorite RB's now. He persevered and came out of it well.

I did my scuba certification there. One of the steps was to take off your mask, put it back on, and clear the water from it. When you take off the mask and the water hits your face, just damn, it takes your breath away.
