DRad to Miami?

We can expect several years of regression in Clemson sports if DRad leaves. If he is leaving for the U, he must know he now has things in a real mess at Clemson. I could hope he would take Dabo to Miami, but I doubt they are that close.

The only thing of note he did at Tech was raise graduate athletic fees. He should have raised them more
Other than fixing the financial mess that Braine left behind, hiring one of the best CFB coaches Tech has had, figured out a way to get the worst contract Tech has ever signed off the books in a fiscally responsible way while simultaneously getting a new basketball court built, yeah, he did nothing.

His only mistake was allowing CPJ to talk to his player about an impending NCAA investigation which didn’t really find anything wrong and so had to find ridiculous minor issues to catch Tech on instead.

Recruiting violations for paying players and all sorts of cheating investigation and punishments coming I bet. Clempson college of agriculture in the middle of Nowhere South Carolina is not a football powerhouse. Never has been. Clempson and multiple consecutive top-five recruiting classes it’s not a reality that normal intersects.

Yeah their gonna go after Wake Forest hard.

trying for a raise from Clemson?

Timing seems weird as there have been even bigger AD jobs open last few years like Texas and USC.
Setting up for his retirement property in FL

"The money they U Health is generating is expected to help the Miami football program per Ruiz and several other reports."
So if you are private you can so whatever you want?

Sounds like it’s time for GT to go private and open a hospital so that we can properly support the football program. Our priorities are all screwed up.

Universities are “non-profits”, and many have affiliated health care systems. Since they’re “non-profits”, the non-profit profits from the health system have to be spent somewhere to balance the books. The targets are usually hiring more administrators, increasing administrator salaries, building new buildings, and hiring more administrators. If they have some left over, they’ll usually hire some more administrators. Then, I guess, they give some to sports?
