I love how having kickers/punters drafted is considered meh by some. Have you guys not noticed how important the kicking game is? Touchbacks, flipping the field, oh, and, umm, minor details like actual POINTS on the scoreboard. I wish we had an NFL kicker and punter drafted every four-five years. It’d be a nice meh to have.

I was screaming at the TV when the Bears didn’t take Butker. One double doink later....

Fans who grumble about their team taking specialists in the late rounds are dumb. They are the best value you can get down there.

Shoutout to all the folks who though Curry wouldn’t get a look in the NFL.

Are you suggesting you actually think he is an NFL player?
He’s getting paid to participate in the NFL. And by my statement he’s getting a look. So someone who know more about football might actually think differently than you.

Each team signs 10-15 of these UDFA each year.

Not to öööö on him again, but the guy wasn't even an above-average college LB.

Want to bet he makes a roster?

So you're saying the average college LB gets picked up as an UDFA? That sounds like a whole bunch of LB's as UDFA's each year.

Are you arguing that he was a better-than-average Linebacker?

Each team signs 5-15 undrafted free agents each year, so that is 300 undrafted players on top of the 280 drafted. That's an awful lot of players. Hell, by the end of the draft there are some pretty average players being drafted.

To use this moment as a "look, he actually was really good" moment is dumb af.

Simple question, do most college LB's get signed as UDFA's?

He is a player who signed a contract to play football for an NFL team. So yes, he is currently an NFL player. It likely won’t last. Most UDFAs don’t make the 53 man roster, but he has every opportunity beat out more heralded players and claim the prize.
