duke and uva...

I think we'll beat duke. Well.....we better beat duke. UVA is another story. Groh always seems to know how to throw a wrench in our plans every year. I think we'll win, but they have the potential to light it up a bit. That QB they have is explosive. Hell, their backup had a career game against us last year......if, and I mean if we beat Vatech this weekend, I think we have the potential to win out. If not, we still do, and I think PJ won't let the guys rest on their laurels and look past anyone.
 
It really depends on how good their OL is. If we get pressure on their QB, we will be fine. CPJ will remember the UVA loss last year. I doubt we lose to them.

True, don't forget we were able to get pressure on Clemson and their O line seems to be an issue at the moment. Small hope? Yes, but I'll take it.
 
UVA is our kryptonite, and I'm dead serious. Say what you want about Groh, but he always recruits huge guys on both lines, big and fast RBs, and huge linebackers. We just never match-up well against UVA, because we're typically more of a smaller/faster team.

Hate playing them. I wish we played them in the first half of the season though, because they always look like dogshit then. Somehow they turn it around in the 2nd half every year.

This is like the Groundhog Day curse for Virginia fans. They start out ****ty most years, things seem to turn around and Groh saves himself from getting fired mid year, usually throws a win over us in there, then manages to landslide back into mediocrity just enough to miss a bowl.
 
I can pretty much go ahead and guarantee that we'll lose to UVA. We'll find a way.
 
After both of them losing to an FCS school this year, we have no excuse not to win.
 
Seriously, we need to focus on EVERY team we play, but some of you guys are real pussies.
 
FSU and UGA curses broken last year (as much as UGA was a curse). Charlottesville SHOULD be broken this year too. At the end of the day, we're not Indiana, and we gained 150 more yards against UNC than UVA did. Big lines or not, if we play focused and hard, we should win.
 
I was joking....however, UVA pisses me off the most because they always start off HORRIBLY (51-7 loss to USC last year and losing to William & Mary this year), turn it up a notch, and beat us.

It makes me sick. That whole swaying thing they do is morbidly homosexual.
 
Duke has a really good quarterback in T. Lewis.... and UVA apparently is figuring out their new spread offense now.
