Duke game at Noon

damn these televised games. Theres too many networks, and precious little time for tailgating.
 
They announce the game time 12 days before, so the Clemson game will be announce on Oct 6th. However, there is a 6 day option that can be used when the networks are not sure which game they want.

Get used to it - F$U is the only home Saturday game with any tailgating potential. G-W probably won't be televised but it will still be an early afternoon game.

Oh I'm used to it, I just don't like it, and I can bitch about it here and with my tailgate buddies.

G-W would be late afternoon game if not televised, didn't DRad say October + No TV = 3:30 or so start time?

I will be a little pissed if UVA gets picked up for a noon start, too much stuff the morning of homecoming for a noon game, just a pain in the butt to see the parade and visit with any out of towners before kickoff.

Hope you're right about G-W.

And now that I look at the ACC schedule, UVA will likely be no TV or possibly ESPNU - pretty good conference slate that day.

What's there to bitch about? Noon kickoffs mean tailgating with bacon!!! TAILGATING WITH BACON, DAMMIT!!!

And Bloody Marys to take the edge off from the night before! Then, hard liquor by 10:00am...without anybody within 5 miles calling you an alcoholic. Plus, you can get rehydrated with a 12 pack afterwards just as the, ahem, meaningful games start.

Ha, never could quite get the hang of Bloody Marys, that crap is just nasty to me, its all about rye whiskey and beer for this guy.

As for bacon, we got our share, the center of this weeks breakfast was smokies wrapped in bacon, and coated with brown sugar. Pork wrapped in pork, living the dream.
 
They've put the homecoming game at noon for the past few years, thus ruining the parade and making all the fun of homecoming happen before I'm even functioning at a marginal level. I'd rather that game not get televised, so we can have a proper homecoming.

That's why you need Bloody Marys. To cut all that grease.

Bloody Marys are very beneficial. Lycopene plus the antifreeze for those cold mornings. :)
