Duke Tickets

I have 2 tickets available in section 121 row 14, in the East Stands. I'll let them go at face valve $40. Let me know if your interested.

I am also a pastor at a local church and I request 4 tickets for me and 3 members of my covenant for the UGAg game in November.

Dude, can you yoink me some holy water and some of those Body of Christ crackers?

Hey Matato .. did you get all the tix you needed yet? Also, did you get mine in the mail?

Haven't gotten the tix as of yet. I imagine they'll be here tomorrow. I need three more, I've been scanning eBay looking. Trying to stay cheap if possible.

Matato, I am coming to the game, but my wife and 2 of my children are not, so I should have 3 for the game. However, I will have my 10 year old with me, so you can have the tickets--just ask the 3 to be careful with their language, if possible.

thanks! No prob on the behavior/language issue. I'll pm you to work out details of meeting you to get the tix.

So I just got an interesting auto-email from the GTAA. Apparently as part of their new "ticket scanning technology" they can tell when you did and didn't come to the game. Here's the email:

Last Saturday, your Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets handled the Duke Blue Devils by a final score of 27-0 in front of over 46,000 screaming fans. As part of our new technology, we scan all tickets that pass through the gates of Bobby Dodd Stadium. All or some of your tickets were not scanned this past weekend. We are continually improving this process, so you may receive this communication even though some of your tickets may have been scanned.

There is no need to respond back to this email if you did attend. Please remember, if need be, you can transfer tickets electronically to family and friends via www.ramblinwreck.com/tickets and logging into your account.

Click Here for more information on transfering your tickets.

Click Here for more information on donating your tickets and receiving A-T point credit.

I hope to see you this weekend when we take on the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs at 3:30pm.

If I can help with anything, please let me know.

I got that same email. But I gave my tickets to a friend to use. I wonder if they didn't end up at the game?

I got the same email, and I know for a fact that all four of our tickets were used. The email said that there could be an error, so I'm banking on the fact that there were a lot of them.

I always get this email. My season tickets are too light to scan, so they just tear them off and let me and my family in. So as far as McClaren knows, I have never been to a game. Hope they don't downgrade me because they think I am not coming!

We did in fact use the tickets you gave us, and they scanned the barcodes, apparently with no issues. That is weird.
The other two folks in our party, who sat with BuzzMD, said that the scanner didn't work, and they just ended up tearing off the ticket tops. So all this advance high security anti-fraud technology with the barcode tickets, and all I have to do is forge a ticket like in the past and when it doesn't scan correctly, they'll tear off the top and let me it apparently (I'm not going to do that, I'm too lazy besides).

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up, and I'm glad you guys did get to use the tickets.

I do like the idea that Tech sends you an email when they think you may have missed a game, though, offering to "help you" with "anything." Sounds like they're doing a good job, at least conceptually, with customer service.

i used both of my tickets and i also got the email. maybe some of the machines didnt log the data correctly.

Same problem here. Both of my season tickets were scanned, but I still got the email. :dunno:
