It's one thing to tackle a stationary target, but the defensive players can't seem to be able to tackle moving targets in a game.

Tackling is not the primary issue. Coverage and/or pass rush are atrocious. Making the tackle 30 yds downfield is only so helpful.

Oh, that is definitely true, but there were also a bunch of short yardage situations by them in which we simply could not tackle, or at least not successfully tackle, the ball carrier. It seems like it always takes 4 or 5 of us to bring down one man, and they also almost always seem to push him forward, rather than pushing him back.
