Dwag games at Bobby dodd

If Russell had no clue what they were doing then how did they come up with the uni in the picture?

I understood it was GTAA that decided not to wear it anymore?
 
Drew Hill had a 102 yard kick-off return for a touchdown against the dwags in 1978, too. Happened late in the 3rd quarter right after uga took a 21-20 lead on a 70 yard punt return. The dwags had erased a 20-0 Tech lead, after changing their QB just before halftime. uga turned the ball over 4 times in the first half. Eddie Lee Ivory had a good game, but got hurt. Freshman Mike Kelly had a poor game at QB for Tech.
 
Remember watching that ‘78 game on TV as a teenager. I took the loss hard then -and in viewing it again here, 40 years hasn’t softened the blow that much.
