This is true. They are all off licking their wounds right now. Everything is quiet. They’ll be more defensive in the morning.

Dammit, I don't want to go to that 12-2 team because they talk öööö on their football board. I think I'll go to the 3-9 team that talks öööö on theirs.

Surely you aren't suggesting that fans calling out players and ööööting on the coaches constantly helps recruiting? If it is either hurting, or at best doing nothing, then why do it?

Surely you can read what I posted. Or maybe not. Did I say it was helping recruiting? Or did I say it’s irrelevant to recruiting?

Of course I can read. Like I said, if at best it is doing nothing, then why do it? I also disagree with your assertion that it is doing nothing. Didn't we see a Twitter post from a players mom talking about fans talking öööö about their kid just this year? Why vent and show your ass on the internet? It is entirely likely that a player, their parent, their friend, etc is looking at this board and it could affect their opinion of our fanbase and program collectively.

But the alternative fanbases are just as terrible if not worse bro. That’s the point. The only way a players mom is gonna be ok with a fanbase is either if her son rides the bench for 4 years or if he plays for Duke or somewhere else where nobody gives a öööö about football. We are extremely mild compared to the fanbases we compete against. I’m not advocating going out and talking öööö about players, I’m just saying it will not affect our recruiting. And talking öööö about the coach is definitely not gonna influence top recruits we should be competing for.

  • Makes poor gameday decisions punting 7 minutes down two scores. Went for it on 4th instead of kicking FG what an idiot
  • Clown coach jumping up and down on the sidelines has a coach pulling his belt
  • Defensive head coach got blown out
  • Poor play isn't the player's fault it's coaching
If I've learned anything from StingTalk based on these irrefutable facts they should go back to their last coach
