Dyer

Word is we've offered when he visited but I have no idea where we stand with him.

Scout doesn't have him as being offered by Tech either, but that could just mean the early checks on grades, etc. are being completed.

Would be an outstanding get if it happens. It's still VERY early though.

PJ wasn't going to offer until he showed serious consideration toward us. Thus when he visited he landed the offer. This is from a good source known as GP1.

Seriously??? We really lead for Dyer? He's rated as a five star, and might be a top ten player. Can't really see that happening.

Yes we do....

No...we do not. Lets not get all Darren Myles about it or anything!

His trip to Auburn was after GT...and he said he rated Auburn as his top visit on the southeastern swing.

He also said that before the trip Arkansas and Alabama were the leaders. He had even commented in one interview that if signing day were tomorrow he would probably go to Arkansas.

All of that said...we are in the top 5....and very much in the race.

No one is the leader right now.

It depends on which site you look at.....rivals has him as a high interest level but he visited Auburn the same week and from all indications is just as interested with them as well.

It's way to early to tell at this point......I hell it's 1.5 yrs away before he runs for any college team.

Recruiting buzzes right now mean squat....it's all a $$ maker.

I thought he went to AU before GT?

GTLand - Thanks for pointing out HiverD's mistake in his hilarious attempt to mock my following of Myles' recruitment this past recruiting season.

Dyer visited Auburn before Georgia Tech, and Tech leads for Dyer.

HiverD - "He cannot only forgive, he can forget. He strives for that nobleness of self and mildness of character which impart sufficient strength to let the past be but the past." -An Honorable Man. Shall we both strive to follow? I believe so.

I agree that they are part of the offense. The function of Thomas & Hill is to pave way for the Nesbone, fueled by Diesel gasoline. On occasion, Thomas & Hill become the strong advocate of the Nesbone, allowing an air raid to promote the conservation and efficiency of the fuel it runs on, Diesel gasoline.

Paul Johnson may win a championship in 2009 with three 49th ranked recruiting classes.

you and dyer been kickin' it?

you could/should add d. thomas and maybe stephen hill to the nesbone list. and to be fair maybe a big ugly or two. they're part of the team too! ;)

Honestly, being a recruit's "leader" in March is worth about as much as a UGa preseason ranking.

Hate to cut and paste....but this is just a small piece of an article on Rivals.

From Rivals March 25:
He'd (Dyer) been to Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia Tech (March 23) and Tulsa, too.

But according to Dyer, none compared to his visit to Auburn.

The 5-foot-9, 201-pound Dyer, ranked by Rivals as the country's No. 3 running back, took a trip to the Plains Tuesday (March 24). He arrived around noon and stayed well into the night.

He wouldn't have minded staying a little longer.

"I really enjoyed Auburn," he said. "I really loved it, actually. Everything was great. Everybody was great. I really enjoyed it there. I really did. It was my favorite place that I've visited. I ranked the visits that I've taken so far and Auburn came out at the top. That's my favorite spot."

No doubt I think it will happen while PJ is here, but honestly don't expect it this year, ACC champs? yes, BCS champs? possibly, but i'm not betting on it.
