Dyer

It depends on which site you look at.....rivals has him as a high interest level but he visited Auburn the same week and from all indications is just as interested with them as well.

It's way to early to tell at this point......I hell it's 1.5 yrs away before he runs for any college team.

Recruiting buzzes right now mean squat....it's all a $$ maker.

so, considering that, i will take the opinion of a guy that over time has offered much in the way of information to the boards (hivered) over that of a lunatic fringe idiot that thinks he is important and wise (dumassius)

There's no doubt this guy is good. He's great! Where ever he goes, he will make an instant impact.

Tech is no longer in contention according to Rivals.

It was their mistake having Tech as a leader. What else are the subscribers supposed to believe?

That is why you actually have to read the articles and pay attention to the quotes....and read between the lines.

Never, ever look at lists in the profile on any site. The writers get hot and heavy on those early and then touch them less frequently as the season and offers move on. Writers probably only update the list portion of the profile about one out of every 5 articles on a kid...if that often. They do not have to ever touch the profile when pumping out interviews if they so choose.

We are in the race for Dyer...we are just not one of the top leaders at this time.

He is an amazing talent. We should recruit him hard. He could make the plays Dwyer made in our offense plus more. He needs to be careful about some of the super programs - most of them emphasize the pass over the run. How many of their tailbacks have been superstars lately? Seems to me their QB's and WR's get most of the hype.

by that logic you are pushing him to ugag since moreno garnered quite a stardom there.

+1

I can recall many "super programs" getting hype for their RB's -- Beanie Wells, anyone? Reggie Bush, in prior years.

For example, the preseason rankings of RB's last year had 3 of top 5 from "super programs" -- OSU, UGA, Wisconsin, and Nebraska.

Post-season rankings were a bit different, but the hype from the preseason was about the RB's.

I've seen this kid play and he is a beast. He played both ways last year (LB) and played the last few games hurt to help his team. Even blocked a fg to win a game if I remember right. Breaks A LOT of tackles. He is a difference maker every time he steps on the field, and has the JD burst that leads to a lot of long TD runs.

He grew up an LSU fan but has lived in Arkansas most if not all of his life. It will be interesting to see what he does, but I kinda expect him to go to a "conventional" offense with the thought that it is a stepping stone to the NFL.
