Wow, notice the other 2 coaches/teams on that list...and what offense they ran.

My god do they do this for every game? I've been reading/scanning for like 15 minutes and am barely halfway.

Yeah, but the basic format stays the same. They just update for past game results and next opponent.

It is also totally wrong because our guys marched up and down the field in the first half but just had some problems finishing. It had nothing to do with feeling the defense out, they were gaining yards in big, meaty chunks.

First 3 drives of the game were all over 60 yards and we averaged close to 6 yards a play. It is idiotic to say "the Blue Devils didn’t really let Tech do much in the first half at all". It's completely, 100% wrong. So is the next line, "what they did allow happened only on the outside, not up the middle to Dwyer". What? Dwyer rushed 11 times for 88 yards in the first half, virtually all up the middle.

Yeah, though a lot of it is stat pages, etc., that are just updated after every game.

Dean Buchan, director of Sports Info, puts these together. He's been adding some fun little bits in there this season, the "Are you smarter than an o-lineman" on page 10 is pretty good.

Given that the writer was actually at the game...I tend to agree with you. But in reality it is the scoreboard that matters.
