It seems like 1gtfan will be starting Buzzoff 2.0. The posts here certainly have all the assumptions and supposition that Buzzoff did about Gailey.

I also think WM would be truly hated by UGA's fan base if he came here. There's no way he couldn't say THWG after he sees what those fans say about him.

FloridaJacket, the only problem you are not seeing is, that probably over 50% of our fanbase including me and (Yes, the big money donors), are against ANY dawg being our head coach, not like the small segment that formed Buzzoff. Please don't compare us to the Buzzoffers. I am against no candidate unless the insane idea of putting an ex-dog in as head coach comes up. There are way too many of us out there that feel that way, to compare us to Buzzoffers.

Sir I respectfully ask what is the problem with hiring an ex-dog as coach? If he meets our qualifications then what is the problem. And please don't say "Because he is a UGA grad?"

Not hiring someone based solely on where they went to school is not only stupid, it's possibly illegal.

Call us all when you get a f'ing clue. Schooling and education is a top criteria when interviewing a candidate. I've tossed countless resumes solely based on a lack of, or a sub-par education.

Example:

Stack of resumes.

Tech Grad
DeVry Grad (?)
AIU Grad (?)
Morehouse Grad
UGAy Grad

I probably toss 2 of those right off the bat.

Yeah, that's the same thing.

Dear god I hope nobody changes their mind about a hire due to a spam campaign.

But this selection filter is based on the quality of the education, not prejudice. Unless you intend to harm your employer.

If anything, you argue in favor of hiring a UGa grad as coach over a GT grad. While GT does a fine job of educating people for many professions, our physical education majors are lacking.

No, the truth is that if we hire a coach based on anything other than projected job performance, we are shooting ourselves in the foot... again.
