The old times of Nix I remember is, we drive down to the goal line and get intercepted with the game on the line.

Anyway, Jacory as the QB should have done more to manage the clock and get his guys in the "hurried" mindset.

Unfortunately, I have seen it before. I like Patrick Nix as a person. He was a fine QB at Auburn. But, the man is a terrible offensive coordinator, play caller, and game manager at crunch time.

I could not believe the first down run, the short passes in bounds, the inability to get them to move in a hurry, etc. Terrible.

that sounds like something the QB coach or OC might teach a true freshman QB....hummmm

We may have seen snippets of that at GT, but we never saw anything quite like that total performance. I mean, they got the ball at at the 35 with one time out and what, 2:15 left to go? Five plays later, there are 12 seconds left on the clock, they're out of timeouts, and they're at midfield.

It is really just inconceivable. Not a single play they ran stopped the clock. They took 25 seconds to snap the ball at one point. They got a first down, then after the clock resumed they STILL took 10 seconds to snap the ball. Then they finally ran a play that stopped the clock, and they had to call timeout before the next play! Unbelievable.

they're also really ripping on butch davis's 2 minute play calling...i guess he made some really weird calls when he was there...i heard some critizing him for unc's playcalling late in the game today too...i guess he is human
