End of season optimism poll

More, same, or less optimistic about beating the Dwags now than you were in the pre-season?

Feel free add your rationale for your vote here. Because we are better or worse, or because the Dwags are better or worse, etc.
 
More. We're slightly worse than I thought we would be, but UGA is significantly worse than I thought they'd be.
 
We are one game better than I thought we'd be and they are significantly worse (except for that Auburn game) than I thought they would be.
 
I think I had it around 35-40% we'd win in Athens preseason. I'm thinking more 50-55% now. We've lost to the 4 good offenses we've faced this year and beaten the 7 average-bad offenses we've played (VT being a debatable one). UGA certainly falls into the latter's category. If Auburn's QB doesn't get hurt in that UGA game we're probably favored heading into Saturday. On paper we win this game.
 
We have been thankfully better than last year and overall have done about as well as could reasonably be hoped for. The dwags suck and their team isn't so good this year either. And they suck.
I remain optimistic we will win.

I say I feel a little more optimistic. We are about where I thought we would be, and they are a little worse. I'm not a big believer in the common opponent thing, but we've got that little tidbit in our favor, too.

This is a historically-bad mutt team. Right up there with the 2015 and 2009 packs. Maybe even ray goof bad.

It evens out, doesn't it? We smoked Vandy, but UNC smoked us.
 
Same. I give GT a small chance of winning. Seen too many games where GT was the better team ('91, '95, '97, '01, '06 come to mind) and still lost.

I fully expect those clowns to have their best game of the season against us. The next time they play poorly against GT will be the first.
 
I can NOT wait to see what CPJ has in store for the doofusheads in Athens.

Johnson is going to coach circles around those nad-licking morons and our team is to to run UGa ragged.

SHOULD being the key word. Look what they did to us in '15 and '09. Even Goff beat us 5 out of 7 and his last 3 teams went 17-16-1.

Have they ever (recent history) **** the bed for an entire game against us? We had them down 27-3 in 2000 before getting outscored 12-0 and we dodged several other bullets. It was 20-0 in 2013 and we know what happened there...

That's my point. The '14 team was clearly better and we needed a minor miracle to win. Seen too many games against them to be as confident as many on this board.

Again, I think that GT has a chance. Will need JT versus Dook to show up and the D that played against VT.
 
The same level of optimism with the understanding that UGA should win solely bc home game and we're both flawed teams. I worry that Eason will gash the little shit routes to Bauta but I also think we can put pressure on Eason. If we don't commit turnovers I like our chances. Basically I've stopped trying to predict this game and just hope we ööööing beat these ööööers.
