ESPN All America Team

... I don't care how high you grow that god damned grass... your lousy defense... lousy OC... your pussy QB ...

I would point out to my fellow Jacket that an important aspect of pre-game warmups is not to peak too soon. At this rate, every capillary in your head is going to explode a week before kickoff.

Everybody seems to be getting a little testy around here this week. Kind of like our team at practice last week.

Pace yourselves - we have two+ weeks to go.

speaking of which, i heard Lindsay Lohan is a bammer fan and her entire demise is due to her impatience waiting for the season to start so that Bama can claim it's 327th national title. poor girl.

Ok I don't care who you are, that's funny.

Anyone who has confidence that Tech is going to score more than 14 points has not been paying attention to Tech football over the last few years.

I feel reasonably good (65%ish) that we'll beat ND, but have no illusions that I know whether the game will be high scoring or low scoring.

More than 14 points would have been paradise against Wake and UGAg. sigh

here's a question for you guys...

i know that your OC had Wolfe all last season, and even though teams stacked the box against NIU, he still consistently ran the ball. is this his gameplan for GT too? Run 80% of the time.... or was that just based on personnel?

What a crappy All American list. Did this guy even bother looking much past USC, LSU, and Ohio State's roster? What a joke.
The media has a hard on for U$C; always have and always will.

They will be throughly shocked when their darling U$C condoms fall flat on their faces this year, which goes to show that even paying your players doesn't guarantee National Championships.

I expect to see Choice all day! I also expect for there to be some playaction passes mixed in between using our slot receivers and tight ends.

Well "lousy OC" is describing Nix not ND's OC.

for all intents and purposes, Weis is the OC. he has an officially listed coach as the OC, but Weis was brought up under Parcells and Bellichek where the HC really runs the offensive gameplan while the OC has minimal input.

Sort of like what CCG was in seasons past.

He was more balanced at NIU in previous years. Last year they were inexperienced at receiver and the QB was recovering from a broken arm. Their run/pass palys were still actually pretty balanced, but the pass yardage per completion was way down.

Gailey definitely believes in balance and I'm sure he and Bond understood one another before he was hired. 60% run 40% pass is probably as unbalanced as we would get.
