GT vs USCe (Chick-fil-a bowl)
GT vs USCw (Sun bowl)

As much as I'd love to play in the chick-fil-a bowl so I could go to the game, I'd be scared as sh*t of Clowney and Co. I think I'd take the sun bowl, just because I like our chances in a shootout better than against a monster defensive line. Thoughts? Obviously, Orange bowl is best case scenario, but let's be real for a second...

I'd rather play east of the Mississippi, regardless of bowl or opponent (unless we're playing in a national championship game or semifinal in Pasadena) so we can actually have a fan base present. El Paso two years in a row? Bleh.
That being said, after much of this year, any bowl is a good bowl.
That being said, we aren't bowl eligible yet, and if there's any year to not take Duke for granted, this is it.

I'll be waiting for us to beat Duke before I put too much effort into bowl shopping. They're a much better team than we're used to them being, and we might just find ourselves in another shootout this weekend.

That said, I'd rather face SCar in a bowl I can attend. Although Kiffin would be the #1 head coach at a 'powerhouse' program that I'd trust to screw up his game plan against us, so that one could still be fun to watch.

Is the Chick Fil A Bowl scenario thinking we somehow get into the ACCCG, lose to F$U? How much would the Chicken Nugget Bowl appreciate a 6-7 (or 7-6, holding out hope for a win over georgie) team from the ACC against a 2 loss SEC team?

There is NO way we go to the nugget bowl. They can pick teams with better records, no? And it would be an embarrassment to have a 7-6 team in that game, not to mention a 6-7 team.

It is Shreveport or El Paso or something like that for us.

Russell in Orlando and Bell in Charlotte are good options if circumstances are unfavorable

IF Clemson beats South Carolina, there is a shot of them getting an at-large BCS bid. And if Miami self-imposes, that would mean that they would be looking at teams like Tech, VT, and NC State (who already played in the kickoff classic thingy). It's not as far-fetched as it may seem.

Clemson is the obvious choice if available.

I would be thrilled with the Music City Bowl. If Tennessee actually makes it to a bowl, it would be great to play them as they arent good and will likely have an interim coach for the bowl game.

For selfish reasons I am hoping for El Paso (well, assuming no Orange Bowl). It's close enough that I could drive down for the game. Plus I hate USCw. I would love to have a shot at embarrassing them in a bowl game!

Spurrier or Kiffin? I'd be ecstatic either way.

Peach Bowl, Music City Bowl, Sun Bowl would all be beyond awesome. Lets crush the Dookies on Saturday so we can start really discussing bowl possibilities.

SEC has 6 of the top 9. I'd rather not play an SEC team in a bowl game, because it's gonna be a UF/SCar/LSU/TAMU team that will absolutely paste us. No Chik-Fil-A. I'd be fine with the Russell Bowl in Orlando or the Music City Bowl.

Sun Bowl is best case for us outside of an improbable ACCCG win (they're the furthest the ACCCG loser can fall, by the way). The Belk bowl will probably jockey for Duke, since they're the only other bowl-eligible NC team if NC State gets picked before then.

This might be the year we finally make the Music City Bowl, which I've been wanting for several years now.

That said, there's a very real chance that the ACC will only have 6 bowl-eligible teams this year if Miami self-imposes.

If Clemson keeps their ---- together, they could get an at-large BCS bid, which would make the Belk Bowl (ACC pick #5) the worst possible ACC pick. Our realistic scenarios fall into 4 sets:

Set 1 (Miami self-imposes a postseason ban and Clemson gets BCS at-large):
Orange Bowl - Win ACCCG
Sun Bowl - Lose or don't make ACCCG

Set 2 (Miami does not self-impose and Clemson makes BCS):
Orange Bowl - Win ACCCG
Sun Bowl - Lose in ACCCG
Belk or Music City Bowl - Do not make ACCCG

Set 3 (Miami self-imposes and Clemson does not make BCS):
Orange Bowl - Win ACCCG
Sun Bowl - Lose in ACCCG
Music City Bowl - Do not make ACCCG

Set 4 (Miami does not self-impose and Clemson does not make BCS, aka nightmare time):
Orange Bowl - Win ACCCG
Sun Bowl - Lose in ACCCG
Music City Bowl or Independence Bowl - Do not make ACCCG

I don't EVER want us to go to another FOWL bowl--our history there is worse than HORRIBLE.
