ESPN Gameday coming to Atlanta for Alabama/VT game

My bad. Thought that was the Clemson game and on Sat. I forgot about JSU.

*Thought they would've wanted to see the Heisman winner Dwyer's first game though.

Surprised its not UGA and Okie St.

I'm not. Last year this game produced a team that was undefeated in the regular season in a BCS conference and a team that absolutely collapsed. One of those teams in back in the same game again. Quite a story.

So how good is Alabama? I realized they kicked all sorts of ass last year in the regular season, but their bowl game was sort of crappy.

Their defense is sick.

Their head ball coach is Saban.

They are money. Bama will finish top ten.

There defense will be similar to last years, which is very good, specially against the run if memory serves. All their questions are on offense, where the lost lineman, quarterback and their lead running back. From everything I hear its the loss at lineman that hurts the most (replaced quarterback as well as anyone might and the running backs were ok form what I heard). Wouldn't shock me if this game stays under 30 points total by both sides.

Is anyone planning on crashing Gameday again with plenty of yellow on? I remember that some dashing young heroes did that last season, and I saw it as a success. I'd suggest plenty of 45-42 signs.

VT has an outstanding defense, especially against the run. But I don't know if they have the hogs in the middle to stop Bama's power running game for 4 quarters.

I expect a low scoring game, but Bama pulling away in the 4th due to fatigue on the VT defensive front. I don't expect VT's offense to give their D enough time to rest.

I was very disappointed that last year there weren't more GT students at Gameday. Especially since JSU was Thursday. The young need to step it up and crash this year's Gameday.

Given that Tyrod Taylor loves to be Tyrod Taylor, I think it takes a while for VT to get a touchdown. However, until the prove otherwise, Bama might still lose to such a score on their offensive problems.

The facilities around the dome are well-suited to a gameday crew and equipment. I'm not sure that Oklahoma State can compete with that.
