I live in Nashville and we have a gameday here for the FIRST TIME EVER IN VANDYS HISTORY

I was just curious if you think there is any chance of a gameday at gtech, I know they had one when we played notre dame a couple years ago.

Our best chance would most likely be f$u, and that just so happens to be the weekend of the Cocktail Party, so you can kiss that goodbye unless both teams lose again (probably need them to both lose twice). If that game is somehow passed up, then our only competition would probably be OU/Nebraska.

The climpsun week would have been a stretch anyway, with ugay/Vandy, Mizzou/Texas, and OU/Kansas all that day.

I bet you are protesting the white out too, aren't you? :D

No actually I'm not. I have season tix and I'll be decked in white. It actually bothers me because I worked my butt off to get a degree at Georgia Tech, not GTech. And it bothers me when anyone (esp. CBS during the basketball tourney) abbreviates it that way. Not a huge deal, just one of my pet peeves.

Just messin with ya. I don't particularly like it either.

There is a decent chance of having one next season, with the likes of Clemson, Wake, VT, and the mutts all coming to Atlanta.

During grad orientation they'd always speak it as "Gaaaah Tech dot e-d-u" - I cringed every time...

Funny thing about this is it would be UGA's third gameday this season and Florida's second... It's a vicious cycle. You get publicity for being good and having talent, and you get talent by getting publicity and being good...
