Oh you're one of those. You bitch about the South, pound your chest about the Civil War and then you vacation down here, move down here and never leave.

Oh man, you pegged JJ pretty quickly. You're going to get along great around here.

Next guess who he voted for.

Your Vol meth heads are not really my type, so....

Say what you want about the Vols, but you can't really criticize our women too much. At least not the ones on campus. There are some great looking ladies in Knoxville. There is no counterpoint here.

I've been hearing references to the economic principle of "weak link theory" being applied to sports. The idea is that some sports, like basketball, are "strong link", meaning that one or two exceptional players can carry a team to championships (think Labron James or Michael Jordan). Other sports, like soccer, are "weak link" sports, because teams with an exceptional player don't do statistically better than teams who lack a star. In that case, it's more about the quality of players as a group, and lacking talent among the weaker players is a bigger liability. The success of CPJ's offense is based more on the effectiveness of the supporting cast, making it more of a "weak link" strategy. I think programs with pro-style offenses and their fans put their faith in a passing quarterback who they hope can carry the team. But if you aren't going to consistently recruit an athlete to fit that role, a running option offense gives you a better opportunity to succeed, because you can coach up the athletes you have to contribute the supporting roles.

Meh. Apparently, you've never been to FSU if you think Vowel ladies are hot stuff. I've made numerous trips to Neyland. Tailgated in the parking lot just outside right field last season. Lots of chunky girls at UT.

And the city of Atlanta is covered up in beautiful women. Knoxville, not so much. I did meet this sweet thing at Bullfeathers a few years ago. She showed me a good time. A real good time.

Ask Kirby how limited this offense is. When down by 2 touchdowns. With less than 10 minutes to go. At home.

Half the fan base is already on the fire Butch Jones bandwagon. I am not in that half and I suspect I will be around 10:45 pm on 9/4.
Ftfy, you've clearly never seen our games if you think it's gonna take 3.5 hours for us to kill the clock.

Nice hit piece here from the Knoxville (Fake?) News Sentinel:

Even a child could see that the flexbone is limited.

“Daddy, why doesn’t Georgia Tech throw the ball more?” a young fan might ask.

“It prefers to run,” his dad says.

“But Tennessee does both,” the child points out. “Why doesn’t Georgia Tech?”

“You want a hot dog?” the dad responds.

Another gem:

"Playing catch-up can be as daunting as third-and-long when your passing game is functioning at an elementary level."

WTF was that $#!+? Seriously - WTF was that I just read? Sure dude is entitled to his opinion in his column but jumpin jesus on a pogo stick was that entirely a misfire. Did this knucklehead not watch the last 8 1/2 minutes of COFH 2016? Or the 2014 ACCCG? When we came back against Duke and then went to kill out the clock, did he bother to watch how that happened? Or that we came back (though we eventually lost) on Pitt, the only team to beat the national champs with this offense? Or the tail cutting handed to UK, who couldn't stop zone give and was sealed with ... a pass?
The key to beating Tech is no different than it is anybody else. Jump up early and get a big lead and make them one dimensional. Even if they are good at throwing it, you kinda know it's coming.
I think he was trying to be cute and funny. He was neither. Go get better material and try the open mike night at Punchline next time.

That's cool that you tailgated "just outside right field" of Neyland. Hope you brought your mitt to shag a few foul balls. I've been to FSU multiple times for some parties, they're not bad at all. Neither are our girls. Where'd you go ööööing Hofstra or Seton Hall ? Maybe ööööing Drexel ?

We've read 1000 of these types of articles by now.....so boring.
