If I was Bilbo, I would have spent every waking, non study, moment in preparation for the upcoming season. Conditioning, playbook, spend time with O-Line (they protect your butt), spend time with the receivers, running backs.... do everything possible that is acceptable within the rules. Godsey worked hard and earned the starting job and our respect by being a tireless worker with excellent preparation. He also seemed, much like Hamilton, to be totally in charge on the field and somewhat fearless, but not to the point of stupidity. If the ball needs thrown into the stands on a second and ten, throw it into the stands, don't force it. I would never want to repeat the Fresno State performance again if I was Bilbo.
 
I also heard a few of those pounds Grant has put on has been placed into the weight room trash can. Oh, you have to love weight room running and workouts. Welcome to college men.
