Fact is . . . FSU really belongs in the SEC. I'm sure that Bama, Auburn, Florida and ugag amog others would really hate that, as they already poach a ton of croots from FSU's backyard and adding FSU won't make that any easier (conversely, adding schools from the Texas area makes it easier for the SEC to poach from there). In a sane world, FSU and USC(e) would swap conferences. But clearly we aren't in a sane word, and it's getting less sane all the time.

BS. FSU is an ACC program. The rest of the ACC just needs to elevate our game to the same standard.

It isn't like you couldn't STILL give them their partial scholarships if you wanted. They could just go out and play their little water polo or whatever in the UNC pool like an intramural sport.
 
Clemson piling up big game losses helps their case for Big Ten. Would love to take them with us. Need them to get that sham membership in the AAU first.

I think once they've had some time for this to simmer they'll come to the conclusion that only Cal and Stanford should be in the ACC, which ironically my might actually be how this all plays out.

But wait......that would solve the travel issue with Cal. Do we support the petition and only have Stanford and SMU to worry about travelling to?
