PJ waited to build Navy before he let them play but once ready he set up a game against GSU. Expect Tech to play GSU in a few years replacing regular I-AA foe Samford.
 
Why not next year we have an opening since Army backed out?
 
I don't know if they would agree to it, they open against UGA, and have already released their schedule for the 08 season. It's not a rule, but usually I-AA teams will only play one I-A team a year.

1-A teams aren't going to play two 1-AA teams in a year either, especially ones in BCS conferences.

Anyway, I've already had one Ga Southern person rave about how exicited she is about PJ coming back to Georgia. Hopefully other non-GT/UGA affiliated people will feel the same way and come to support our program.
 
I will promise that whenever we do play GA Southern, it will be a sell out. Half that campus comes from the ATL. Half the alums live in the ATL.

I work with a GSU alum that is now wanting to come to our games. I believe you'll see quite a few more GSU fans jump on board just to see their old coach.
 
To GSU-paintballer

While I went to Tech in the early 80's, two of my best high school friends went to GS. I used to go down there once or twice a quarter - in particular for "Derby Day". Is GSU still a big Party school? My son really wants to go there and I am trying to get the low down on his intentions.
 
Yea, it is. Its honestly alot like UGA, but with half the students.

God will probably strike me for that.
